About The Play
Step into a delightfully chaotic household where logic takes a holiday and joy rules the day. At its centre is Goverdhan — an unconventional philosopher of happiness who dispenses life lessons while casually breeding lizards — surrounded by a family that chooses to dance through life’s unpredictability rather than resist it.
As love, ambition, and social expectations collide with tax inspectors and sudden crises, the family clings to laughter, optimism, and imagination. Blending humour, satire, and heartfelt reflection, this vibrant play celebrates resilience, absurdity, and the beautiful messiness of everyday life.
